Q: Why should I use Spa Cleanser initially before using Spa Magoc, and then every 18 months thereafter?

A: Before starting with the Spa Magic' product we highly recommend this treatment for 100% success. The Penetrating Spa Cleanser product will clean away chemical residues which have built up deep inside your spa plumbing and pump. These chemicals are oxidizers (chlorine & bromine in particular, bromine being the worst) that continuously eat away at spa plumbing, pump and seals, thus lowering the life expectancy of your spa and decreasing its efficiency.

Q: What happens if I don’t use the Penetrating Spa Cleanser before using Spa Magic?

A: Five to eight weeks into using Spa Magic it will continuously seek out chemical residues to eliminate them. If Spa Magic finds those residues, the water may turn a bit cloudy and give off a chemical odor. Beginning with the Penetrating Spa Cleanser product eliminates this problem. Older spas (5 years and older) that have used bromine will require two bottles of Cleanser because of the excessive amount of chemical buildup inside the spa plumbing and pump.

Q: Can I use Spa Fragrances with Spa Magic?

A: We recommend using Leisure Time EsScents Spa Fragrance, since it is compatible for use with our Spa Magic enzyme product. We advise against other fragrances because they contain irritating chemicals, or chemicals not compatible with Spa Magic.

Q: If I want to adjust the pH while using Spa Magic, what should I do?

A: Use about a table spoon of baking soda, and then test your water with a Leisure Time Spa & Hot Tub Test Trip. Repeat until the desired pH level is achieved.
